Weddings
It is such a great time in your life when you start the planning of your wedding. Often I am asked by couples, “where do I start”. To help you with what I do, I have attached a small sample of what I provide to help you with your wedding ceremony.
I do not do “off the shelf” ceremonies, they are all tailored for each couple and are always unique to just the two of you.
I supply a large amount of information to help you in making your ceremony as personal as you would like. I have developed what I call my Ceremony Guidebook. It contains
- Many variations of introductions
- Over 50 vows,
- The Giving Away of the bride, Exchanging of rings, and the Asking
- Music ideas, including the downloading of 4 songs to be used during the ceremony
- Over 10 pages of poems and readings etc relevant to weddings and love.
It is a very personal day and I make sure that your ceremony is everything you hope for. When we meet for the initial meeting I will show you everything that is available for you. There is no charge for this meeting of course, it’s just so you can meet me and that will help you decide on who your celebrant will be.
Commitment Ceremonies
This is your special day, one to be treasured and remembered. I offer to you a personal service, from our first meeting, to the rehearsal, to your memorable day.
A Commitment Ceremony is a meaningful and dignified ceremony for couples. The purpose of the Ceremony is to make a public declaration of life-long commitment, love and dedication between two people. The occasion is a beautiful way for you to share with family and friends the love and commitment that you have for each other. The Commitment Ceremony will ensure you and your partner have a ceremony that expresses the love you each have for each other, tailored personally for you.
There are a range of ceremonies to help you make your day a special day and I take the time to listen to what you are wanting to express and say to each other. I offer you as many changes to the ceremony as you need to get it just right for you.
The ceremony will be personalised according to your requirements. There are opportunities to include readings, exchange rings or gifts and to make personal vows of commitment to each other. A commitment certificate is presented to the couple at the end of the ceremony and will also be signed by both partners and 2 witnesses.
Renewal of vows
What a beautiful ceremony a Renewal of Vows ceremony can be for those couples wanting to renew the vows that they made a number of years before. You may like to include vows from your original ceremony or to include your children in the ceremony by them giving a reading of a poem or even giving away the bride.
When you and your partner wish to renew your vows, it’s a special moment where you are re-committing to each other, and enshrining the new vows, and the continued direction forward each of you want to make together.
I build each ceremony exactly like a full wedding, so it will be very personal and exactly what you are looking for.
Naming Ceremonies
Whether you are having your own children or adopting, a naming ceremony is a special occasion for you to bring your child into your friend’s and your families lives.
This beautiful ceremony is tailored to include those people close to you, who you want to be a special and integral part of your child’s life.
Funerals
Please refer to my funeral site for further information.

I offer you a meaningful funeral service that honours the person who has passed away and leaves their close family and friends feeling “right” about how they have said goodbye that can transform the experience of bereavement. I bring a deep respect for a wide range of belief traditions, both secular and spiritual, offering particular understanding of the needs of many people or those not looking for a religious service or possibly seeking an alternative to a full church service.
I want to help families to create a ceremony that reflects their own particular needs and spiritual beliefs. This may be spiritual - without necessarily adhering to any particular belief system - or a moving and beautiful ceremony for those with no spiritual beliefs at all. I encourage involvement in the ceremony from the family and friends of the person who has died. A good funeral offers both hope and comfort in the difficult times ahead, and truly honours the passing of a life.
